With long established traditions in fresh produce marketing, Marshalls' name has become synonymous with high quality and sound service. The secret of good quality vegetables is sound agronomy, minimal handling and a fast and efficient cooling process after harvest. With our state of the art cooling facilities we ensure maximum freshness and the longest shelf life.

Serving some of Europe's most fastidious multiple retail customers with deliveries 364 days per year demands meticulous attention to detail throughout the entire production process from seed to shelf. We have a dedicated Quality Assurance team of 23 within the organisation, which constantly monitors adherence to customer specifications, food quality issues and factory hygiene throughout Marshalls' operations both in the UK and abroad.

All packing premises are audited against the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Code of Practice on an annual basis to ensure compliance with the industry's most stringent GMP standards.

We also have a high profile Product Development Strategy Team which cuts across all the relevant departments to place maximum resource and brain power into New Product Development (NPD). The Board views NPD as our lifeline for the future and heavy investment has been made in this area. Funding covers the three components, basic research and development, market research /intelligence and new product trialling / evaluation. This ensures Marshall's rightful place in serving the customers of tomorrow with precisely what they want.
