In a first for the UK fresh produce industry, Produce World has published a comprehensive report covering its social and environmental activities and performance. The report, 'Growing trust' was published on October 3rd on the group's website.
Produce World and HSE to work together on Health & Safety
In a groundbreaking initiative the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Produce World Ltd are to start an Intervention Project designed to promote best practice in Health and Safety Management across the Group.
Open Farm Sunday - 1 June 2008
This years event has been described by LEAF as “the best yet!”. Over 400 farmers across the country opened up and early reports indicate that nearly 150,000 members of the public visited a local farm on 1st June. A full report will be issued by LEAF later in the year…but in the meantime here is our very own Produce World report. Produce World acquires Marshalls and Agromark
Produce World Ltd, currently growing and marketing organic and conventional fresh produce, has acquired Marshalls Holdings Ltd, a group of companies that includes Marshall Bros (Butterwick) Ltd and a 76% holding in Agromark SA, in a deal agreed and completed last night.

Food Manufacture Excellence Awards
RB Organic is a finalist in the Food Manufacture Excellence Awards for achievements in Environmental Projects and Team Welfare.
We are delighted to announce that at the recent Sainsburys Brand Conference, held at their Holborn offices on 26th April 2010, Marshalls were presented with the award for Best Supplier Technical Service by Judith Batchelar, Director for Sainsburys Brand.
At the Food and Drink iNet Innovation Awards 2009, held in Leicester on Tuesday 17th November, the Food Processing Faraday Award for Most Innovative Large Food and Drink Manufacturer went to Marshalls (part of the Produce World Group), Butterwick, Boston, for the development of bellaverde® sweet stem broccoli, that was launched in July 2009, and created in conjunction with Seminis.
