Ben Parnell - Ben joined the business in June 2004 on a Modern Apprenticeship to become a Multi-skilled Engineer based at RB Organic at sixteen years of age.
Ben started to work with the experienced team of Engineers on site, to gain a good understanding of the role requirements and get 'on the job' experience. Ben also attended college one day at week over a two year period, to gain a recognised qualification for this trade.
Ben has now completed his training up to NVQ level 3; this coupled with the 'on the job' training has increased Ben's confidence and ability to manage any situation. Ben is a very strong member of the team who is going from strength to strength and is very much an asset to the business.
Maciej Pytlewski - Maciej joined the company in 2006 as a Line Co-ordinator. Maciej brought with him new skills and a drive to succeed in his new challenge at RB Organic. Maciej has shown the business that he is a very well organised and respected member of the team over the last few months. Maciej has increased his areas efficiencies and output.
RB Organic have recognised Maciej's potential to become a very strong leader and as a result of his hard work, he will be running his own shift as of July 2007. Maciej will be promoted to Shift Leader in the Organic Carrot factory, where we will be supporting him to achieve new targets and under training to become an experienced manager of the future.
Sue Johns - Sue joined the business in October 2005 as the HR Officer for RB Organic. Sue has undertaken new challenges during the time at RB Organic, this has ranged from full re-structuring of the factory to the recruitment of senior managers.
Sue has been attending university over the last year to gain the Certificate in Personnel Development (CIPD) which is a recognised qualification in the HR field.
Sue's development has been such that she has been offered the role of Group Human Resources Manager, this role will require a close working relationship with all of the Produce World business units.
We are delighted to announce that at the recent Sainsburys Brand Conference, held at their Holborn offices on 26th April 2010, Marshalls were presented with the award for Best Supplier Technical Service by Judith Batchelar, Director for Sainsburys Brand.
At the Food and Drink iNet Innovation Awards 2009, held in Leicester on Tuesday 17th November, the Food Processing Faraday Award for Most Innovative Large Food and Drink Manufacturer went to Marshalls (part of the Produce World Group), Butterwick, Boston, for the development of bellaverde® sweet stem broccoli, that was launched in July 2009, and created in conjunction with Seminis.
