Why Rustler

Rustler are alliums supply chain experts. We understand the consumer and through a state of the art facility and committed grower base deliver what they want when they need it.

A team of experts help to drive innovation and new product development to add excitement to onions, garlic and leeks throughout the year.

Rustler's leek growing and packing operation, Allpress Farms Limited, was founded in 1965. Run by MD Nick Allpress, it shares the same philosophies on quality, value, service and responsibility towards the environment as those held by Rustler itself. Based in Cambridgeshire, with its fertile soils, Allpress Farms devote 750 acres to leeks each year, producing around 6,500 tonnes.

A programme of varieties is used which enables a progression of maturity throughout the season, running from the beginning of July to mid-May. Produce grown by a joint venture with Allpress Farms in Spain completes the 52 weeks supply cycle.

Harvesting is carried out using the latest rig technology which, coupled with dedicated refrigerated storage, ensures our leeks are the cleanest and freshest available.
